Rob Layton is an active-duty law enforcement officer who trains other officers — and he'll teach you the exact same way.

Early in his career, Rob built the red-dot pistol program his department now uses to train its people. Preparing the officers who run toward danger led him to a bigger conviction: the families those officers protect deserve the same standard of instruction. Because every cop knows one hard truth — there’s a gap in time between an incident happening and law enforcement arriving to help.

So Rob brought professional-grade training out of the academy and into reach of everyday people — not the fear-driven, opinion-heavy noise of the gun counter or YouTube, but a calm, tested, data-first way to protect the people you love. He's certified through the NRA, TCOLE, and ALERRT, has competed with the USPSA and IDPA for over 11 years, and has trained over 2600 students. More important than any of it: he teaches only what actually holds up under pressure.

He works from a proven method that deals in facts over feelings. Firearms ownership is buried in misinformation, and misinformation is what gets people hurt. Rob's work is to clear it away and leave skill, confidence, and a plan in its place.
